GOSPEL MIX ACADEMY

The person behind the process

Daniel Ayittah

CEO, Outluk Records · Gospel Mix Academy

A working engineer.
A teacher who explains the why.

Gospel Mix Academy brings Daniel's experience in gospel mixing and broadcast sound into a learning environment built around intentional decisions.

The philosophy

Process first.
Then gear.

When I started out, I was chasing plugins. I thought the sound I wanted was hiding in some plugin I didn't own yet.

What actually mattered was the process behind the decisions. Once I learned that, it changed everything.

I've always wondered how I'd teach my younger self to mix. If I had to start over, I'd want to learn the process first, not the gear.
